Makeup Revolution New-trals vs Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette | Review

Makeup Revolution are an innovative brand that are constantly coming out with new products every week. While it is refreshing to see, I’ve kind of got used to seeing their products and find I’m not as phased as I once was when I first came across this brand. As soon as they released the New-trals vs Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette, it all changed. I fell head over heels for this palette as soon as I saw it and I just couldn’t wait to get my hands on it!

I’m all about Autumnal makeup. The burnt Oranges, deep Plums, fiery Coppers, give it all to me! This eyeshadow palette instantly reminded me of the Lime Crime Venus Palette, a palette my heart has lusted after for what seems years but know I would never get my hands on. I’m big on eyeshadow and love experimenting, but Orange and Red-toned shadows are one thing I have never experimented with. This, I was eager to try. This palette just screams Autumn at me. Isn’t it pretty?!

Makeup Revolution New-trals vs Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette

The palette features sixteen beautiful eyeshadows of varying finishes split into two rows; the new-trals and neutrals. These eyeshadows are held in solid Black packaging with a matte cover (similar to the Iconic 1 and 2 palettes) and also feature your bog standard large mirror with a double-ended eyeshadow brush which I will not be throwing away (yes it’s actually decent)!

A plastic sheet with the names of the eyeshadows printed on it also comes slotted in the eyeshadow palette like the others. I must say, it is a challenge trying to keep hold of those flimsy sheets. I think it would be better if they were printed on the back of the packaging. I would love to see that on future palettes!

I’ve always gotten on well with Makeup Revolution eyeshadows and this palette here is no different. The eyeshadows from this palette are buttery smooth and well-pigmented as always. I’m not too keen on the lighter shades as they don’t show up as well but every other shade in this palette is undeniably gorgeous and for the incredibly affordable price, why wouldn’t you pick this up?

Let’s take a look at these gorgeous eyeshadows, shall we?
